Top 10 Everyday Work Makeup Favorites for October

So its been a little while since I blogged I decided to do a makeup favorites and must have for work.   I work out at work everyday and I usually don't wear makeup because I have to reapply and it takes too long but, I decided I'm going to make an effort to put that makeup on but keep it simple.
  1. Eyelid primer $1.00.  I really like the MAC eyelid primer however, its a heavier primer and for an everyday work look it really just wasn't working plus it can be pricey.
  2. E.L.F. Pressed powder its has full coverage without feeling like you have a whole lot of makeup on $3.00.  I was actually using the MAC Studio Finish powder which is a great product it's just a little heavier on the skin and expensive for an everyday work look.  I love it but it will last way longer if only applied for Weekends and going out.
  3.  I am hooked and loving the E.L.F. Hypershine Gloss in Berry Cherry I am loving the applicator the glossy finish its a great gloss for only $1.00.
  4. I am loving is the Revlon Color Stay Lip Stain $2.99 with coupon.
  5. E.L.F. Blending Eye Brush $1.00 this brush is the best I love it.  I was hooked on Sonia Kashuk and Coastal Scents however this Blending eye brush is the only brush I am using now to create anytype of look. I only ordered 1 but I am hooked and will order a couple of spares.
  6. Wet N Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder I use it as a eyeshadow but it is a great bronzer too. $3.99
  7. N.Y.C. Metro Quartet 815A Best of Broadway eyeshadow duo I am loving the black but all colors are great on the skin and very pigmented $3.99.
  8. Clear Mascara for eyebrows I like keeping them in place $0.99 at 99.99 cent store.
  9. Select Lash S1 loving falsies only because I don't need mascara only $0.99 at the 99.99 cent store I also love S47S (Small) S47M (medium) S47L(Long).
  10. Avon Color Trend Black Pencil eyeliner for the water line I'm loving this pencil $1.99 and it stays on all day!
That's my top ten picks for work.  If you haven't checked out E.L.F. its a must see http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ also check out http://www.avon.com/ you can order online now.  That's all to report and happy bargain shopping!

Model In A Bottle

I am always on a forever quest to find makeup that will stay on your face all day with out fading or coming off at the end of the day.  I hate touching up mid day or looking great going out for dinner and dancing only to find out by the end of the night all of my makeup has completely come off.  I found the solution to this problem and its called Model in a Bottle.  Model in a Bottle is a setting spray that holds your makeup in place all day.  NO MORE TOUCH UPS! Model in a bottle is resistant to smudging, tears, humidity and water.  Simply apply your makeup as usual.  Allow your mascara to fully dry before applying.  Close eyes and spray evenly 10-12 inches from face and wait 20-30 secopnds to dry before opening eyes and it works.  It's not very cheap a 2 fl oz bottle will cost anywhere from $23.95 to $26.99 at your local beauty supply store however; I found this gem in a clearance bin at my local beauty supply store and bought three bottles at $15.99 each.  I love it and am hooked I put my makeup on as normal spray and make no touch ups what so ever it's great!  If you have the extra cash its def worth checking out and purchasing.  You can also order the product online at http://www.modelinabottle.com/ .  That's all to report and happy bargain hunting!

New Eyes Lip Face Products

I had been anxiously awaiting my free products from ELF and they finally arrived on Friday yippy skippy.  I was pleasantly surprised I received a 100 color eye palet which I absolutely love and must say that a number of the colors are complete duplicates from the Urban Decay Palets all the colors have a nice matte finish which was a great change from the back to school palets I received from ELF although I liked them I felt that many of the colors were too shiny and had way too much glitter for work or a day look.  I looked on line and the palet will run about $15.00 compared to $65.00 that Urban Decay sells theres for I would say thats a huge savings!  I also received a couple of eye shadow brushes online they sell for $1.00 and I wasn't expecting any good results boy was I wrong.  The brushes are soft and are just the right size to create any number of looks and for the discounted price I am def going to go online and purchase them to start my christmas stalkings stuffers for my nieces.  I also received a foundation brush which I love I was hooked on the foundation brush by AVON however this foundation brush, brushes on smooths and so much more evenly then the AVON brush it also has a better texture and feel to it.  Lastly I received some of the new nail polishes at first I wasn't too thrilled about the colors but after removing them from the package and doing a couple of swatches I found that the colors are a very nice and vibrant they have lasting power and go on evenly and smoothly making it easy to just do a single coat and done.  The nail polishes are a steal for $1.00 each I am def going to go online and purchase some of the other colors another great idea for stalking stuffers.   If your looking for some great makeup that has great textures lasting power and overall is great product I would def check out ELF you can find it at Target and purchase many items online at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ use discount code CAROLINA for a huge discount at your check out! That's all to report and Happy Discount Shopping!

Last Payday Bargain Finds!

I'm on the hunt my latest quest was finding some brown boots. I have some but, they are just regular straight leg and not the scrunchy ones that I was looking for. I decided to stop by my local favorite Fashion Q in Huntington Beach they have pretty reasonable prices and they sell shoes! Although my go to place is Cathy Jeans for shoes I wasn't really into spending another $109.00 plus tax on a brown pair of boots it almost killed me last time and with that $506.00 red light ticket still looming over my head I really had to stick to a budget! To my great surprise Fashion Q had quite a selection of boots in brown, black grey and a darling pair of light brown. I picked up a pair of dark brown boots the hill is a little smaller then what I am used to about a 2 inch but the bow and the price made up for the hill difference. The boots are inexpensive running from $15.99 to $27.99 I paid $24.99 for my brown boots and love the comfort and feel. I didn't look around like I said on a budget but a couple of things did catch my eye but I didn't fall into temptation I kept on moving and ended up just purchasing the brown boots I really wanted! Still having a couple of extra dollars I decided on a whim to take a look at Suzy's Deals in HB they are down the street from Fashion Q and everything in the store is $5.99 and up I've never seen anything over $10.00 and I never find anything. To me Suzy deals clothes aren't much of a deal it reminds me of old lady appearal but, I thought I haven't been in the store in over a year and a lot could happen in over a year which is soo true often times new buyers are hired and the clothing either gets worse or a heck of a lot better and to my surprise it is a heck of a lot better.
I only had about $30.00 dollars left so I was so bummed to find so many things that I really liked. They had a ton of cardigans from $5.99 to $7.99. If your not hip to the fall fashions cardigans are a staple in any fall or winter wardrobe. They also had a ton of military green shirts sweaters cardigans and muscle shirts. I couldn't resist the muscle type military inspired green shirt with the beeded embelshiment and chain the tag read $7.99 but, there was another tag still attached from Nordstrom Rack for $14.99 so it was practically half off. I also found a pinkish grey loose fitting shirt that I thought would go great with some jeggings or some black leggings or possibly skinny jeans the shirt was $5.99 and I was very happy with the discounted price. Finally I picked up some super cute black skinny jeans with zippers in the back pockets I loved the fit and the price $9.99. They had some great selections of bracelets and necklaces 2 for 5.59 so I picked up a set of gold bangles and a Love Necklance. Some must sees if you happen to go to Suzies Deals a great selection of jeggings, skinny jeans, regular jeans and nurses uniforms all at great price. The children's clothing section, as well as plus size options is a def must see. So if you have a local Suzy Deals in your area def check it out you can also look them up on the web. Thats all to report and happy bargain shopping!

What I found for $40.00

It's been a while since we hit up one of my favorite swapmeets and since the future mother-in law wanted to see exactly what I was talking soo much about we decided to make a trip to Rodium open air swapmeet in Torrance.  I love this swapmeet and although my budget for spending was short I did manage to pick up some really great deals.  Rodium swapmeet is my favorite simply because you can find some really great deals for a fraction of the cost.  I picked up this adorable Charlotte Rousse t-shirt for $.7.00 with the tags attached retail you are looking at $18.99.  Not only do they sell alot of items from Charlotte Rousse they also sell tons of items from Forever 21 at a fraction of the cost as well.

I am totally addicted to perfume if it smells wonderful and is at a reasonable price I'm hooked and must have.  I have a huge collection but that did not stop me from picking up this great smelling set cale Forever for $10.00 including sample perfume bottle, perfume bottle lotion and body wash in a great gift box.  They had so many different scents it was hard to decide all for $10.00 or less.

The best deal has in the whole entire swapmeet happens to be the makeup.  They have a ton of great deals I bought foundation from Loreal for $2.00 which runs at any local drug store for about $14.99 even on sale you can't find a price that low.  Lip glosses lip sticks eyeliners and eyeshadows all are normally $1.00 I bought a great color lipgloss for $1.00 I was hoping to find some blush but which thyey did have just not my shade.

Lastly I purchased earrings and hair accessories all for $1.00 each.  Normally each pair of earrings would cost around $3.80 at Forever 21 and the hair accessories would run about $4.80 each at Forever 21. In total it was a great day I found all these items for less then $30.00.  If you ever are in he city of Torrance and have a couple of hours to spare the Rodium Swapmeet is a must see.  That's all to report and Happy Bargain Shopping!

ELF Eye Lips Face Palet's $5.00

So I received some free products from E.L.F (thank you!). I was told to try them out and blog about what I liked about their products and most importantly keep the product yeah! Jazzed that I was chosen I decided to see exactly what E.L.F. was all about. I had never ever heard about E.L.F and did some research online and found that some items are sold at your local Target and majority of their sales are done on line. The great thing about E.L.F is first and foremost the cost the eye Palet's I received not only came with instructions on how to create certain looks with the Palet but are very reasonably priced at $5.00 per palet! The quality of the eyeshadow I would say is similar to MACS palets I would also put them with a close dupe to Urban Decay eye palets as well. The eyeshadows almost all had that sort of creamy soft texture which makes it simply put very easy to create different looks with each palet. I also loved that the eyemakeup last all day even after a 60 minute workout! I'm hooked! If you have a chance check out the website they have eyeshadows, lip gloss, mineral makeup as well as liquid, eyelashes all well priced and many for $1.00. Check out your local Target they are begining to carry this product and def check it out its worth the few bucks that you can save.

Finally some Retail Therapy

So I haven't had the chance to post any great deals or savings not that I haven't found any or haven't been looking fact of the matter is it's been a crazy couple of weeks and I didn't have the time to blog anything :(

I found some really great deals and I am going to share them with you now.
My first must see is a place call Falla's or Factory to You. If you haven't seen one of these around they aren't that hard to locate. There are several of these gem outlets all over California and at first I was a little skeptical about going in but I was pleasantly surprised. First off if your kid wears school uniforms and you haven't gotten around to looking for them this shoud be your first stop. Backpacks are $7.99 that's cheaper then Old Navy's price of $9.00. If you need school uniforms pants run from $7.99 to $9.99 shorts and skirts are at a very reasonable price of $4.99. Shirts are a whopping $1.99 and they are not wash one time and throw away they are of a very good quality of cotten. As far as purses and handbags they carry a wide variety of assortments all as far as I can see are name brand from House of Darrion to Love all $20.00 or less. I picked up a very cute tiger print oversized shirt to wear with leggings for $7.99. They also have perfume Lucky and Curve perfume was $6.99 for a package of two perfumes plus body wash and lotion! I picked up a grey sleevless cardigan $5.99 that will go very well wth leggings and or jeans and I picked up a green military style enspired type t-shirt that would go great with leggings or jeans $5.99. Only thing I do not like about the store is they do not have dressing rooms some do but the one in Westminister does not the location in Long Beach does. So if you have some free time check out their website find a location and Happy Bargan Shopping!

Santee Alley Back to School Shopping

So it's my favorite time of the year! Yeah I'm crazy most parents don't look forward to shelling out cash and going from store to store looking for school clothes but not me I love to shop. So in order to prepare for school I have each kid make a list of what they need of course it's the usual for the smaller one uniforms, socks underwear backpack hair accessories very easy. With my list in hand I begin with my stops first on my list was the Santee Alley in Downtown Los Angeles from reviews on the internet and word of mouth I heard that this gem in Downtown LA has some great finds. On my list of course was finding those inexpensive uniforms hair clips, underwear and sox. Next was finding a black and brown bag for the teenager for HS and of course maybe something or two for myself.

Review of the Alley:
1st and foremost arrive early if you get there past 12noon crowds crowds crowds
2nd you must check out the bacon wrapped hot dogs! Yummy Yummy Yummy
3rd Haggle Haggle Haggle never hurts if they say ten dollars I say seven
4th Quality before you buy make sure of the quality yeah it's five bucks but, you want that five bucks to stretch I always think WDF (wash dry fit) if I wash and dry will it fit again

We arrived a little too early 8:30am but early enough to get prime parking $7.00 right on the Alley vallet was $10.00 most of the stores weren't open or were begining to open.  The Alley is huge and they also have regular shops open on the sides and corners of the Alley.  After about 30 minutes of walking I found some great finds on jewelry.  Retail price for the earrings I purchased would be $3.99 per pair I got them for $1.00 I found some really cute bangle bracelets retail price $4.99 I purchased them for $1.00.  I found these jade bracelets that I wanted so badly but retail price at fashion Q was $2.99 each and I didn't want just one I purchased several colors for $0.50 each that was a great find!  After a while the shops do start to get repetative I found a super cute Hello Kitty Shirt for $10.00 I also found a Victoria Secret Pink sweat suit perfect for fall workouts but I passed and regret not purchasing the set for $11.99.   I purchased Nina Ricci perfume retail price $52.00 Alley price $10.00.  I also purchased a black super cute handbag which I love retail price $52.00 at the Westminster Mall Alley price $15.00.  I didn't fnd any school uniforms or good deals on school clothes the shoes were a little over priced for my taste and some of the clothing was either retail price or regular discount priced I could get at Fashion Q.  Overall the Alley was just ok nothing that I couldn't have found at one my favorite swapmeets or discount store.  We left around 12noon it took that long to walk it I didn't find anything to rave about exept the perfume and handbag by 12noon all the shops were open and the crowds were huge! Overall I wouldn't go on a regular basis but may take a trip once a year it's not a must see but it is worth checking out at least one time.
That's all to report for this weekend Happy Bargain Shopping and for next weekend I'll be checking out the Golden West Swapmeet I haven't visited this gem in several months with my aunts B-Day fast approaching and she is a woman who has everything it's that time of year to go junking and see what gems I can find.

Pick of The Week Pesto 4-Cheese N Bacon Pizza

Other then hunting for bargains another one of my passions is cooking.  I have two great taste testers at home that encourage me to cook cook cook.  I love finding bargains at the grocery store and since I no longer eat red meat it has sometimes become a challenge to make unique different dishes with fish, turkey and chicken you can only eat so much of it right.  Because I am the non red meat eater in the family I don't make them suffer with my decision and on occasion I will cook the family a red meat dish usually once a month.  In my quest for more chicken dishes I discovered a really unique inexpensive healthier alternative grocery store.  Fresh N Easy they are popping up everywhere in the OC and I noticed on my way to work that there was one in Long Beach so they are fast growing.  The friendly supermarket isn't that big but they have a better quality of fresh fruits and veggies then your average grocery store def check out the fresh strawberries, apricots and cherries very sweet and reasonably priced.  They also have the 98 cent bagged fruit usually oranges apples but they as well have a sweet taste and are very inexpensive.  Milk eggs and cheese are all cheaper then what you would find at the grocery store I love the boneless skin less chicken breasts and there pre-seasoned fajitas are also a very good buy for the price.  If you love to BBQ then check out the BBQ value packs that include hamburger, hot dogs and chicken variety packs fish is also reasonably priced and fresh.  Water there bottled store brand water taste great and is a great value.  Def check out there brand items such as Pizza Dough, Pesto, pre-packaged food like wings and meat loaf I heard was to die for frozan veggies and french fries are of high quality and with a low low price.  Items too expensive and a watch out for are of course cleaning very expensive, paper towels dish and laundry soap you are better off going to the grocery store for all those items and boxed food. Breads are more health food orientated they don't taste like Webbers so if you want regular bread buy it at the grocery store. Def check out the pre-packaged deserts yummy! If you are looking for a semi healthy alternative to Pizza then check out this recipe I whipped up that my family of taste testers request at least every other week.

The Best Little Cheap Salon

Ok about a month ago I had this brain storm yes I have those sometimes and they aren't that often thank god! This one was a doozy I decided to go lighter with my hair. Summer was fast approaching and I always had dark locks. I always wanted light brown hair but after years of dying it black the colors I always picked never came out. The solution I heard from a couple of people strip the color out of your hair then dye it the color you want seemed simple the box looked easy enough to follow boy was I mistaken. I decided on a Tuesday night to strip the color out of my hair and dye it the light brown I always wanted. Problem is yeah the color stripped right out the new color never appeared I was left looking like a black oompa loompa it was horrible. I do have the best fiance in the world and he felt so very bad for me he said it doesn't matter what it cost just get your hair fixed. Now it's been many years since I even ventured in a salon having no clue where to go or what to do I called around first searched the web and because my hair is extremely long and thick I was looking at $180.00 to $300.00 easy so I decided to go to a little place called Edwards Salon in Huntington Beach CA on Springdale and Edinger the reason for my madness is my step daughter had went there a few times for hair cuts and they did a pretty good job and the price was reasonable. I walk in tears in my eyes and the first thing out of my mouth is can you fix this? No problem she says after spending nearly four hours there I was left with the best hair dye job I could ever hope for. Total cost was $60.00 thrilled I gave her a $20.00 tip and was told to touch up my routes only $30.00. This salon is small and there is only two people working but, they do a great dye jobs, hair cuts, updos, and straightening. If your looking for a stylist and are tired of paying high prices then I would def check out Edwards Beauty Salon in Huntington Beach don't be discouraged by the appearance of the salon looks can be deceiving I highly recommend this salon. One month later I maintain my color get hot oil treatments and love love love my new dew!
Thats all to report on this discount adventure. Happy Bargain Hunting!

A Lil Friday Night Retail Therapy at Santa Fe Springs Swapmeet

After the shock of turning my hair orange (yes my quest to go lighter was a disaster and yes I was warned) luckily I have a great fiance he felt so bad for me about my orange disaster that he paid for me to get my hair professionaly done so thank god no more orange hair and its actually the color I wanted. After that disaster I needed some retail therapy. I didn't really need anything but I really needed to complete the baskets I had been working on for a couple of weeks now for my nieces who are graduating from Junior High next week. I had already found somethings such as:
Lip Gloss Make up Kit Purchased at Sears with an additional 75% off the marked price. I had already purchased some candy and necklaces (3) as well as 2 pairs of earrings but I needed to beef up the gift so I decided the best way to do this was to head down to the Santa Fe Springs Night Swapmeet.
The best thing about this swapmeet is if you don't have anything planned that Friday evening its something to do and the cost is minimal if you like old hard heavy medal or rock on Friday nights they have a live band and some are actually pretty good. On Friday nights the swapmeet opens up at 6pm but I would suggest getting there around 7pm the parking is free and if you get there after 8pm parking may become dificult. The cost to get in is $1.50 per person but the cost is well worth the items you can potentially get. For one if you love makeup and nail polish its a good place to find a lot of $1.00 and 2 for $1.00 deals. If you love MAC makeup then you definately want to check out all the different vendors with tons of MAC and Hello Kitty MAC makeup they also sell several different types of MAC Brushes all way below retail cost. I love to pick up earrings, purses, skinny jeans and makeup which you can find for a reasonable price and usually name brand if you look for the skinny jeans make sure you try them on because sizes vary.
Some of the items I picked up were a pair of skinny jeans, perfume, nail polish, earrings, bracelets in total I spent $43.00 dollars well below actual retail price. My nieces baskets break down as follows:
Basket 1:
Dollar Tree Purchases:
Grad Dog $1.00
Shredded Red String $0.50
Nail Polish $1.00
Basket $1.00
Candy $1.00
Bag $0.50
Items Purchased at 99 cent Store
Necklaces qty (2) $1.98
Sears:
Lip Gloss Kit with an additional 75% off $1.25
Santa Fe Springs Swapmeet
Bracelets qty (2) $2.00
Perfume $5.00

Total Amount Spent $15.00 One of the girls basket was a little different because she has pierced ears so instead I added more earrings then necklaces but in total spent $15.00 as well. In total I spent $30.00 for two graduation presents. It was fun searching and creating these baskets and I really hope they enjoy them.
The Santa Fe Springs Swapmeet does have some good deals so if you have some spare time on a Friday night check it out. That's all to report and Happy Bargain Shopping.

The Best Little Movie Theatre at a Discount

Four Star Cinema happens to be the best little secret in Westminster! Why because the movies are always new the theatre is clean and the food is reasonably priced. All theatres feature Hi-Def and Dolby sound. All movies before 12noon are only $4.00Family Discount Days Tuesday and Thursday are only $3.00 ALL DAY! They also have advance showings on the latest movies such as Twighlight for $5.00. Regular price tickets are also cheaper then what you would pay at the regular movie theatre I believe it's either $5.00 or $6.00.
The downside about this gem is the movie theatre is small and will get packed if your going to a newly released film. If you want to go to a newly released film buy your tickets early and arrive early the box office will let you know the best time to get there.
Other then that the movie theatre is clean, has some pretty good deals on food, the staff is helpful and friendly. Best of all you are enjoying a good flick on not scratching your head afterward wondering how in the world did you just spend $60.00 for you and your spouse to enjoy a movie.

Classic Closet Huntington Beach

Ok so there are a lot of myth's about thrift stores. One being the clothing is old ugly ragidy and unwearable. Some people tend to think thrift stores are for poor people who can't afford to go to retail stores and buy something brand new. Maybe that was true back in the day but, times are a changing and thrift stores are not only moving with the times there catching up. The Classic Closet is one of the best thrift stores I have ever been to.
1. This thrift store often gets new merchandise donations from several of the major department stores! Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond, Jones of New York, Target and Walmart and sometimes the big guns give donations like Coach!
2. The items these department store donate are items that they were unable to sell (over stock) or merchandise that may have a slight defect (like a tear if it's clothing or maybe a missing sham or pillow case if it's bedding or maybe a scratch or ding if its furniture)
3. Why do they donate well hello tax right off! Ever wonder what all these major department stores do with the items they just can't sell or items missing a piece out of the complete set i.e bedding.
The store is pretty big and almost each day they have some type of sale like 50% off of all red tag merchandise. They have a senior day take an additional 10% etc. I don't know the donation rotation some days they'll get a shipment from Macy's or Target those days I do not know but it seems like everyday they are putting out new merchandise. The best thing about Classic Closet is the clothing selection they have some gems from casual wear, sports wear, evening wear and business attire. The jeans can be a great buy brand names from True Religion, Guess, our pal Calvin Klein retail price anywhere from $89.00 to $179.00 only $9.99 to $12.99! A nice Jones of NY Pant Suit will run you about $30.00 dollars or less depends if you catch a red tag sale or not! Jones of NY Pant Suit at Macy's your talking $150.00 easy! If it doesn't fit taylor it. It doesn't cost much your still saving money and most of all you will wear it business meetings etc. They also have a pretty good selection for men and children. For men they have variety of gems from Polo shirts, dress shirts, slacks and jeans.
They also sell furniture pieces I have a Mr. Fix It at home so I enjoy looking at some of the furniture a slight ding or scratch no problem a lil buff a little paint and it's new! They also have bedding and not the kind you would find in a bed in a bag for $40.00 at Anna's Linnen's. They have Ralph, Martha Stewart Calvin Klein bed in a bag for the same price you would pay at Anna's only of better quality. It might be missing a pillow case or sham so make sure you look at all the pieces and if it's a pillow case it doesn't cost much to replace the pillow cases with another matching color. The quality your paying for is well worth an extra trip to Ross or Anna's and gettting a replacement.
I would give yourself plenty of time to go through the store they have a huge selection of nick nacks, jewelry, sometimes good purse finds, I don't buy shoes but they do have them there.
The items I found today were:
Levi Jeans NEW $12.99 retail price $27.99
H&M Black Blazer New $13.99 retail price $29.90 (note to self glad I waited I was going to buy it at the actual retail store :)
Black Skirt $4.99 today sale tag was orange so it was 50% off.
Small Round tan/beige ottomon with internal storage for $12.99

Well thats all to report today.

So if you get that chance stop by at Classic Closet here is the website it doesn't give much detail but it's a must see on your shopping adventures http://www.ocgoodwill.org/classic_closet.aspx

Its Always Great When Its FREE

You never know what gems you family members may have! Here are a few I got from my mommason who by the way is the BOMB! And it cost me nothing Free Loves It!

My Shoe Hunt Adventure!

Who doesn't love a cute pair of hills some nice summer wedges or some sandles? I love shoes I have so many they are overflowing in my closet and my fiance dog has lost her spot three times due to my shoe fettish but, I make it up to her with treats and luv! I was on the hunt for some cute wedges first stop was in Long Beach CA they have two store locations all shoes 3 pairs for $20.00 yup that's right 3 pairs for 20 dollars. Yes I know what your thinking they must be made out of plastic and last 3 seconds before they completely fall apart. Here's a little insight into the 3 pair for $20.00 dollar deal
So the stores are small and they have a ton of different variety of shoes to go through. The shoes are of different brands Soda, Classified and others you would find at any regular shoe store at the mall I'm not talking Macy's or anything but those little boutique shops they have inside the mall. I didn't find really anything this trip. I do plan on going back and picking some summer flats in particular sandles. They have a ton of variety of gladiators and slip on sandles. I even saw a pair in 4 different shades that I picked up for my Step Daughter and paid $12.99 for the pair knowing in the back of mind they probably had them here and kicking myself that I didn't wait. An extra 7 bucks and she could have not only gotten them in black but added brown and white to her summer shoe collection oh well teens can't wait sometimes. They have two locations in Long Beach both are on Anaheim Street and they are just called 3 pairs of shoes $20.o0 that's the name of the store simple and to the point. One thing I do not like if you don't find 3 pairs you don't get the $20.00 discount (that sucks) the price for each shoe varies from $9.99 each to $11.99 so they make it worth it to buy the 3 pairs. They also have kid shoes so if you have a kid they do have really cute summer sandles and some "weekend" sneakers as I like to call it. They actually have a pretty good selection and some are also pretty cute for kids mainly girls not so much boys. If you are in the LBC have maybe an hour to spare check them out you maybe pleasently surprised.
The next stop on my shoe hunt was a store named Footsies they sell 3 pairs of shoes for $25.00 the store I used to go to in Huntington Beach CA closed so I checked out the store in Stanton they have two other locations one in Costa Mesa (need to check out) and one in Orange (need to check out). There I only found two gems the tan wedges made by Classified retail price $24.99 loves them cute and comfortable and the red floral sling backs made by Anne Michelle who I looked up on line her shoes run anywhere between $21.99 to $40.99. I am wearing the red slingback today which I love!
Now if you don't know floral prints are making a huge comeback this summer. I am not a huge floral prints fan. I am not the floral type of wearing kinda girl. Reminds me of my grandma but the shoes were very cute and I paired them with some jeans and believe it or not a grey shirt which made the shoes pop because they have a pink grey beige and red floral tone to them. The great thing about Footsies is you can buy a gift card for $25.00 this buys three pairs of shoes if you find two they stamp the two you found on the gift card and you can come back at a later date and find your last pair. This is great I hate settling for a pair of shoes I may or may not wear. If you don't buy the gift card they do sell the shoes individually but the cost is $12.99 pair so it's really not worth it.
My shopping adventures continue for more wedges and or sandles because of my gift card but if you would like to get an idea of what 3 pairs for $20.00 and Footsies has to offer here is a website I usually look at first before I go and either find the same shoes or something very similar http://www.lovemyshoes.com/ they have some cute shoes but the prices not that great. So if your in LBC, Costa Mesa, Stanton or Orange check out these stores and Happy Bargain Shopping!
